Grassroots Exchange & Education
In order to further enhance the global partnership between US and Japan, CGP fosters US-Japan grassroots exchange in various ways, including region to region, civil society, and youth exchange programs. CGP also promotes understanding of Japanese culture and society in the United States, focusing on K-12 education and community outreach.Institutional Funding

Japan America Society (JAS) Initiative
Concept Papers due July 31, 2013; Invited Full Proposals due October 1, 2013Supports networking and capacity building among Japan America Societies (JAS) in the US to encourage sustained growth and innovation
Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI) Program
TBAPromotes US-Japan exchange activities and fosters a grassroots understanding about Japan by dispatching Japanese individuals to volunteer in communities in the US
JET Memorial Project - Montgomery Dickson Memorial
