NEW! Request for Proposals: Funding for Intellectual Exchange Projects
December 10, 2008
~ Small Grants of up to $10,000 ~
As the global financial crisis continues to affect every segment of society worldwide at unprecedented speed, there is no better time than now to re-emphasize the need for partnerships to engage in resolving these pressing issues of global concern.
The
Japan
Foundation
Center
for Global Partnership (CGP), tasked with promoting these partnerships, has fortunately been able to maintain a stable and steady fiscal position thus far and will continue to operate on this sound basis for the foreseeable future.
In this light, CGP would like to address these urgent needs by calling for proposals to create new networks amongst knowledgeable practitioners to openly discuss the broad spectrum of these critical global concerns. Proposed projects may take the form of a conference, a workshop, a series of brainstorming sessions, the dissemination phase of a relevant publication, or even small scale research which may include a study trip to Japan; however, all must commence by March 31, 2009 and may last up to 12-months in duration.
