East-West Center Announces Japan Studies Fellows


The East-West Center in Washington, DC has announced the first group of visiting fellows that will join the Center: Hideshi Futori, Llewelyn Hughes, Somei Kobayashi, and Crystal Pryor will start their fellowships this Fall.  This fellowship supports research on issues of key-relevance to the Japan-US partnership; fellows will complete articles or a monograph for consideration in a publication, give a public presentation on their topic, and spend one week in Japan doing research.  The length of tenure of the fellowship is either 3 or 6 months.
