Abe Fellows Global Forum

CGP and SSRC are pleased to announce a new initiative of the Abe Fellowship Program, the Abe Fellows Global Forum (Abe Global). The aim of this initiative is to encourage international, multidisciplinary discussion on topics of pressing global concern. Three events are scheduled for 2017. 

The first two events in this initiative explore the theme, “Confronting Climate Change: What Can the U.S. and Japan Contribute to Creating Sustainable Societies?” and the first will be held October 18, 2017 in cooperation with and at the Asia Society Texas Center in Houston and the second on October 20, 2017 in cooperation with the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC) at Stanford University. The third event, on “Japan and the Leadership of the World Trading System” will be held November 10, 2017 in cooperation with the Center on Japanese Economy and Business  and School of International Public Affairs at Columbia University.
