Now Accepting Applications: Abe Fellowship for Journalists (Thru Sept 15th, 2016 17:00 EST)

16-Jun-2016 The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership (CGP) and the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) announce the Abe Fellowship for Journalists (AFJ) competition.

The Abe Fellowship for Journalists (AFJ) offers stipends for journalists interested in pursuing individual short-term policy-related projects on topics of pressing concern to the United States and Japan. 
Fellows are expected to produce an analytical article or feature story that will inform public debate or a policy community on one of the following topics:
•    Threats to Personal, Societal, and International Security
•    Growth and Sustainable Development
•    Social, Scientific, and Cultural Trends and Transformations
•    Governance, Empowerment, and Participation
