2009 Japan America Societies (JAS) Initiative Announcement!
CGP is pleased to announce the grantees for the 2009 Japan
America
Societies (JAS) Initiative.
JAS Initiative:
In this three-year initiative started in 2008, CGP will devote
approximately $120,000 per year to contribute to sustained growth and
innovation within Japan America Societies throughout the
US. Eligible grantees are members of the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS).
Grants were awarded in two categories: networking and capacity building.
Networking grants will enhance networks and linkages among and between Societies and thereby strengthen the capacities of these Societies.
Capacity building grants will expand operations and grow organizational capabilities, including new program development, new staff hiring and membership campaigns.
